Watercolour pencils, or to put it another way – aquarelle pencils, come in a strong tin box that makes them easy to take with you on your travels or to school. The pencils have an ergonomic triangular shape. The pigments used in the pencils are water-soluble, like watercolour paints, and blend beautifully with each other to create images of unlimited colour palette. These pencils can be used like regular pencils – without the use of watercolour effects. Or combine different techniques: dry pencil on wet paper, wet pencil on dry paper, etc.
